Comment: A definate good buy. I have the fortune of owning one of the older copies, with the coloured versions of the Unseen Clan mechs. Consequently, this readout has my fav Mech pic.

As far as the book goes, it has some great designs, and excellent pics and fluff to go with them. The designs are mostly ballanced, and there are few 'wtf' mechs. All in all, a great book.

Product: Technical Readout: 3057 (DropShips, JumpShips & WarShips)
Rating: 4.00
Comment: Great book for all the stats on warships, dropships, and jumpships. Also has battlespace stats for aerospace fighters and aircraft.
Unfortunately, for those who don't know battlespace, the rules are needlessly complicated. Still can be fun, though.

Comment: This is one of those books that falls into the good, bad and ugly categories.

The Good: Inner Sphere Omnis are introduced, and some of them are actually cool. Also, the Bushwacker. Most likely the best Mech in the book.

The Bad: Flawed production run. My copy has had most of the clan Mechs replaced with a bunch of the inner sphere ones, repeated. It's actually very annoying.

The Ugly: The artwork hurts. Alot. If you don't think so, look at the Bushwacker on the cover, and compare to the one inside. It's hideous.

For rules and designs, this is a great book. It shows the IS taking full advantage of new technology, and showcases many Clan oddities (Pirahna anyone?). However, the artwork lacks the coolness of the other readouts, and the missing pages bug the hell out of me.

Comment: I found this tech readout a balancing act. The vehicles and mech designs are great, the artwork sis excellent, but the protomechs are (in my opinion) the result of the after effects of a late night binge party.
Sure, there neat.
Overall, this is a good book. The Clan's have their own vehicles, the Inner Sphere is perfecting Omni Tech, but I find the protos just ruin it.

Product: Record Sheets Volume 6, 3055 'Mechs
Rating: 2.50
Comment: Good in that it is pre-made record sheets for the standard designs in 3055. Also has aerotech.
Bad in that the aerotech just has the primary configs, and the design of the sheets is a bit bad. No weapon data, and no perforations or removing the sheets.

Product: Record Sheets: 3025 & 3026
Rating: 4.00
Comment: Great book, full of the mechs for the elder age of technology. Some designs are still viable on todays battlefield. The vehicles give lots of options as well.
All record sheets have full weapon stats.
No really downsides, except you have to rip the book apart to use them.

Comment: Great book, full of upgrades and new mechs and vehicles. As with 3025, all sheets have a full weapons stats, but the book must be ripped up to use.

Comment: Another excellent book of record sheets. This one is particularly good because it gives us the information of varients from previous years. As usual, all the recod sheets have full weapon data, but must be extracted via knife from the binding to use.

Product: Record Sheets: Upgrades
Rating: 3.50
Comment: I wasn't as impressed with this book as I was with the others. Most likely becuase there are less 'mechs in it than the past ones.

Anyway, good book for what it is: Upgrades of older models. As it is the book for the 3062 era, and some of the mech designs are reaching 1000 year old, this book keeps them up to date on battelfield technology.
Good book, but not the best.

Product: Record Sheets: MechWarrior Dark Age I
Rating: 2.00
Comment: The good: Puts CBT stats behind those rather neat wizkids figs that go with a game whose rules really hurt. Also, official sheets for Level 3 mechs.
The bad: departs from the look of the classic record sheets, is rather short.
The ugly: the sheets look horrible! If that's how HMPro prints sheets than that program is a waste of money!
