The server they are on absolutely sucks! It's one of the main reasons I jumped ship a couple months ago. Sure, it was free for me, but you get what you pay for. I haven't regretted moving to my new host one bit. So, my site is just about always up, so why don't you hang around here more often.

I have seen posts on Facebook, Sarna and else where about either they were hacked, server issues, then when I asked on Facebook I was told by CGL that they were having issues with maintenance issues.
This seems to be regular deal for them though...so who knows. I did see that store was still up, but not the main sight so it could be anything at this point.

The store is an entirely different server. They actually posted the following on their official Facebook page yesterday:

Odd that it took them a couple of days to post that...but if you bailed from the server one would think they would have seen the writing on the wall so to speak...

They probably didn't even notice my absence. Heck, whenever they did anything that would have impacted my site, they always forgot to mention it to me, so I was left scrambling. The writing on the wall was there for a long time from my perspective.

Well I am calling BS on the reasons that have given. When in the world does it take 9 days to change servers or do some routine maintenance? For a company website like CGL to have a portion of their website be down for this long spells incompetence. I know I may sound harsh, but after having so much personal negative contact with the people running Battletech I am glad they are being exposed for the dumpkins they are, especially that Coleman fraud.

Here or Sarna or Rick's site, these three are FAR better then the official forums anyways. Far more helpful fans and fans who are there for each other.
