You know, you always could've sent me an email and I would've helped you out. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Technically, nothing. I see you edited the design to be private, and now no one can see it in the listing. But short of going to the forums and deleting the post for the design, it won't delete it once posted. So it'll always be visible in the forums. I did go through and edited all the posts with submissions so the text wasn't there anymore. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Great questions!
I'm definitely going to have some sort of runner-up competition. The exact details of which have not been worked out yet. But stay tuned for those after this ends and a winner is selected.
Once all submissions are in and the deadline has passed, I intend to make all the entries public so they can be viewed by everyone. Because, I agree with you, it's interesting to see what other people do, and just how well they read the "what do I like" parts of the contest. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Apologies, should have thought of that...must have been more tired than I thought...guess that's what happens when you have to start going in to work two hours earlier than before...and still get off maybe only 30 minutes or so earlier than you did before the change...
Oh well, at least I don't get paid anything extra for the extra hours put in...that wouldn't make sense...

Can we get the man access to his old account? And maybe merge his new one with it? _________________ "Rear armour is defeatist!" - unknown Kuritan Mechwarrior

Getting him access would be easy. Merging would be more problematic. I could probably move some things, like his submissions for the contest, to the old account. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Whatever you want to do...just please let me know via email if you change something...
Thanks,

Is there no partial wing option?

It's there, you just need to ensure your settings are correct, because what's available for you is based on rules level and years of availability for that equipment.
So, the default Era when creating a 'Mech is the Civil War (3062-3067). The Clans were the first to introduce the Partial Wing (in 3067), but it was Experimental during the Civil War era. So to see it as a clan option you'd have to change the Rules Level to 'Experimental' and Technology Base to 'Clan'.
If you wanted to use it on an Inner Sphere design, you'd have to change the Introduction Era to 'Jihad'; since the Inner Sphere didn't have it until 3074. It did change from Experimental to Advanced in 3085, so it'll show up by also changing the Rules Level to 'Advanced' (or 'Experimental').
Now, if you don't want to have to worry about any of this, and simply be able to design without worrying about rule levels and availability, simply change the Rules Approach to 'Current', and Rules Level to 'Experimental'. That will allow all options since every piece of equipment is Experimental or lower based on the current rules. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Ah, I didn't realize it wasn't available to the Inner Sphere until so late. I guess I will have to drop it from my design concept as it won't fit your 3071 restriction. Thanks for the response. This is a great site, btw.
