Well, vacation is over and back to reality! I rolled up firing for turn 17 and the results are posted. The mercy jymset was seeking has been provided. All it took was a critical to his AMS ammo (floating from the left torso, of all things)! While eliminated, he is still officially our front-runner. I'm not so sure PaWeasley has enough left to stay alive long enough to overtake him, and Mekslayer is quite a ways back still. But we shall see!

That was an interesting turn. Mekslayer and the warrior formerly known as Jade_Dragon squared off. All was pretty equal until my dice took a turn for the worse; at which point Jade_Dragon/Ronin was the unfortunate soul they turned on.
Meekslayer took advantage of it and scored a fair number of points! Though that left torso is mighty troubling. The question still remains if anyone can survive long enough to take over the points lead from jymset.

Another round, another player eliminated! This time it was Jade_Dragon/Ronin who was felled. And with his departure, Mekslayer has taken over the points lead; in small part due to the ammo critical. While he did take the lead, the dice did turn on him in the piloting phase! Given the state of the other 'Mechs remaining, I think it will be very difficult to catch him in points!

And then there were two. PaWeasley finally met his maker after falling and taking his CT with him! All that remain is Mekslayer and Sir Henry. Mekslayer has essentially locked the match up with that last kill, as I'm not sure there's even enough of his "mech remaining that Sir Henry could get enough points if he hit every last point!

I've been using my new signature brand of special ammo...
It's called 'I put a curse on you ammo, now you must fall an die'.
So far it has been working pretty good!
When we're done, I might need to write up a good story about this mech...
Can my mech get enshrined in the BT hall of fame?
