Well, Mek survived another round! Though he's officially down to just the LA being a valid location to absorb another ERPPC. Having said that, he has officially moved into first place, for the time being.

Mordel and I have talked about that...pilot scores are too low. Three is usually the lowest it would be, and more than half the field has a number less than that.

A lot has to do with how movement works in this game. If movement is per the usual rules, you are more prone to take risks then you would with simultaneous movement. I've learned a lot by running this game here.

Absolutely. In the table top version players routinely would move needing rolls of 4 or 5 if it meant blocking a faster mech from moving. In this game there's no blocking, so no need to risk it (even if you needed that high a number, with the low pilot scores it's nearly impossible to make a tactical move needing a number that high).

You could spice things up with Large Lasers firing down from the walls... With safe zones just a bit farther than they can walk...

And the race continues! Horhiro is getting shitty luck on both ends and keeps hitting areas that won't finish Mekslayer, but also getting hit in the same area! Can either of them survive the next round?
Meanwhile, chihawk continues to do what he's not accustomed to doing, and that's run around the map! Will he be able to figure it out?

I have run more turns in this race than probably in all the others I've played in combined...this is the closest I've ever come to completing two laps (hell, I don't usually get a half lap).

Gunnery scores are too low also.. The game was originally designed for 3/4 type pilots but kind of falls apart a little with the pulse lasers and clans mechs. Still a damned good game to be invented with a hangover!
