where exactly does the scout lance enter the map? You did say we were able to join the fight on turn 6?

If we have reinforcements showing up, now would be the time to negotiate a cessation of hostilities when we at least have some leverage (before they know exactly what we have)... point out over comms that we'll withdraw if they let us.
Our pilots are picked up... better to save what's left of what we got than have to fight our way out. We're not controlling the battlefield anyway, and they may want to save damage to their forces too.

Alright folks, now that the light lance has arrived, what's the plan? Is there a backwards retreat happening? Should we be rushing in as quick as possible to try and divert fire?

CO: Pinhead. Get the light lance in here and try to cover our retreat as best as possible. Use spoiling tactics to slow them till we can disengage.
Dangit. Mycroft just went down. Mycroft, punch out and await pickup. Stinger, send someone to retrieve Mycroft.

Stay spread out, they have arty, so don't move in straight lines and keep a distance between you and your lancemates!
We have to get our downed guys and provide some cover fire so the rest can get away.. If you happen to get a chance to trash an arty, please don't let a little thing like orders stop you! Move out!

if the scout lance can grab our pilots we will, but everyone else should be withdrawing.. unless they can pick up a pilot..
