I voted to retreat, but that's also coming from the scout lance, currently out of battle and actually able to do so!

| I'm voting to retreat, but I'm literally just going to go along with whatever decision is made by the person who picked me up. Unless we can somehow surrender and get what's left of our mechs back, retreat is the least worst option.

| I vote surrender... but since my BLR is currently a pile of smoking rubble, I'm kinda just along for the ride at this point... I'd prefer not to die in the retreat though, and they have both range/artillery and quick mechs/tanks to follow us. If we manage to retreat... its only because they let us do so.

I can't imagine the kind of ransom they'd be seeking given the destruction we left behind in several places!!

I think we probably can negotiate a free exit off the battlefield, where they can keep any salvange, etc. They don't lose any more mechs/people, we walk away. I think we already have our pilots picked up, so we shouldn't have to pay that sort of ransom.
We may have to agree to leave the planet, which could be a contract breach, but if we lose any/many more mechs and get wiped out, we aren't fulfilling any more contract missions anyway.
