We are still playing so don't worry.
I just wanted to update you on some life stuff.
As you all know, we have been impacted by the pandemic. This has resulted in several unexpected changes in my life that are effecting all of activities.
1st, I have been suffering from a small bout of depression as a result of isolation and the lose of stress relief activities. I am a extrovert and this isolation has been killing me. I would spend at least 1 or 2 days a month playing board games with associates, and I last played a full board game in like May. I feel cooped up and on edge constantly. Its been very bad for my health.
2nd, my work schedule changed from 8-5 w-f to 7:30 - 5:30 m-th. These longer days leave me little time to update during the week. Yes, I have friday off but this is counter balanced by medical appointments or getting crap done that I couldn't all week. My eldest just started school and I often have to moderate that until friday evening. I feel mentally drained each week.
3rd, as you know, I am a parent of 2 boys: 6 and 1.5. They are suffering as much as I am so I need to spend time taking them out on weekends. So even though I have 3 day weekends, I keep having to dedicate a 1/2 day or whole day to their physical and mental well being.
4th, we keep getting hit by some bought of illness that leaves my spouse and I with no energy. As many of you know, I suffered a traumatic car accident in 2001. It has left me with weakened systems. My spouse also seems extra prone to illness and for various reasons normally operates near he max energy capacity which leaves her little to no reserves when ill.
last, as a result of my accident, I have recently been developing various health issues. My neck suffered a lot of damage and is now pinching nerves in my left shoulder. I now suffer from neuropathy of my left shoulder, breast, and arm that leaves me in near constant pain with no source. I keep getting symptoms similar to a heart attack despite extensive testing saying I have an extremely healthy heart. This neurological pain 1st presented as migraines and headaches in the 1st decade after my accident which I over treated with ibuprofen which resulted in acid re-flux. My re-flux was then over treated by my doctor resulting in my stomach shutting down acid production which it compensated for by over working and causing me to develop non-ulcerative gastritis and colitis. And now I have near constant stomach issues which also have the joy of upsetting my nerves and increasing my pain. And most recent is possibly having developed sleep apnea. Fun.
I say all this so that you understand why it has been taking so long. When I have not been ill do to illness or a flare up of an existing condition, I am doing family stuff such as going out to a park or nature preserve or simply trying to stay sane while also spending what little time I have doing house related chores (fixing all the crap my kids break or cleaning).
We are still playing. You just got to give me time.

Life, family, and the health of everyone (both physically as well as mentally) is far more important then any game! Take whatever time you need, get better, and do what you can can whenever. Been here 25-off years, so you know I ain't going anywhere.
