I'd imagine digital is hard, because it would require someone to scan the copies of those magazines. Not sure that's an easy thing to do without destroying the magazine itself? _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

While it is difficult to scan them, at least the vast majority of the missing magazines have a soft thin spine that makes scanning difficult, but not impossible, and you do not have to disassemble the book. Stardate & The Mech/Tech Factory are my magazines that I was able to scan into .pdf's and I thankfully did not have to destroy them.
It is my hope that somehow the remaining magazines can be located and scanned. Some I think were released digitally (Mechforce Quarterly) .... they just need to be located.
And then there are the odd items that I have managed to scan .... the Mechwarrior Personal Files for the five houses. That took a decade to aquire all five of those!
So if folks can spread the word I would appreciate it.

Hiya, sorry about the very late reply.
Terra Post is the magazine of the third (and current) MechForce Germany. It went away from DTF to mostly digital (hardcopy for a higher membership rate) in 2014 and is still ongoing. It would be in the high 40s now.
The first MechForce's magazine was called "Life Support". It ran for 8 issues and was quite excellent.
The second MechForce's magazine was called "MechQuarterly" and its 4 issues have been impossible for me to find.
Games Review was a British gaming magazine that, in its first incarnation in the late 80s, covered board / war games. (It later reinvented itself and covered PC games henceforth.) A few of its issues had excellent BT TRO entries.
BT fanzines of the 80s and 90s were truly wonderful things. If the OP wants to reactivate this thread, I'll be happy to dig deeper. _________________ "Rear armour is defeatist!" - unknown Kuritan Mechwarrior

I am still working getting what I have to you, now if I can get my computer to well do what I need it to do.
What would be cool is a couple of volumes of all the magazine articles and such put together to show the impact of the game across the years. _________________ Karagin Only the dead have seen the end of war. - Plato

I...don't think so? I recall there being a short-lived magazine by that name. But it was a LONG time ago, so I could be totally imagining it. _________________ www.210sportsblog.com

Sharpnel was a collection of short stories done up in the same size as the sourcebooks/housebooks. Had one where Patrick Kell met the mother of his son Christian and then one were a group of infantry took on brand new Mauraders with paint rounds and smart tactics.
Is that the one you are thinking of? _________________ Karagin Only the dead have seen the end of war. - Plato
