Overview:
    The MTM-74 "Minuteman" is a return to from for the "Crystal Keep" production line. While
    previous designs were for scouting, cavalry, or an attempt at the "every soldier"
    Battlemech, the Minuteman was built simply to match the habits of Mechwarriors on the
    battlefield. Those habits being "keep closing in with the enemy so there is no possible way
    I can miss." With weapons systems chosen to be effective at close to medium ranges, the
    Minuteman can excel at its role in a battle line with a competent pilot at its controls.
    When paired with other forces, the mech shines at its role, taking to the front and readily
    engaging threats of various types with having little to no heat issues. However if there was
    one flaw to its design, it is the amount of armor it carries for its weight class. While
    clad in SMA's proprietary Dark Achilles Ferro-Fibrous, it really only carries plating to get
    through one or two tough rounds of fighting, and while the Minuteman can certainly hit above
    its weight, but should not be in a position to receive an equal hit back. With proper
    planning and operation within its lance, this Battlemech can be and is a staple choice for
    MechWarrior and MechCommander alike.
