This is a post from Rick Raisley on the Heavy Metal forum (www.heavymetalpro.com):
" I appreciate the interest that people have in the upcoming HMAero, and thought those who aren't in the playtest program might like a look at what the record sheets are looking like. In fact, you may see them before the playtesters, as I just posted the release that prints larger craft a few minutes ago.
Anyhow, you can view a print preview (low resolution, of course)of a Fighter record sheet at:
http://www.heavymetalpro.com/images/Fighter.gif
and a WarShip record sheet at:
http://www.heavymetalpro.com/images/WarShip.gif
Let me know what you think! "
Well folks, I think they look awesome! Go take a look for yourself and if your registered over there--let him know!

I`ve seen that fighter sheet before, somewhere on the net. Probably a BT site called The Technical Readout.

Well, it's what the HMAero sheets will look like.
Do you have a link to where you've seen it before?

These are the same sheets. Apparently Rick isn`t designing them himself, mr McCullough is doing it.
And I did remember correctly, sort of. It was The TRO`s Link Section I`d found it through before.

Edit: the man`s got part of his TRO site hosted on another server. Still don`t see why he`d put it in the Link section, but
then I don`t know how he thinks.

I just looked at that site...it belongs to " MacAttack", who is one of Rick's "merry men" so to speak.
Not surprising he'd be using that sheets then

Yes and no. Mac has certainly made up the vessel pictures that are being used. He also made up initial record sheet designs, and these were fine-tuned by emails and comments on my web site until we arrived at the current configuration. Basically, Mac as a playtester, and with the rest of us assisting, designed the record sheet layout prior to my writing the code for actually doing it. That way, we had a roadmap on how best to put things, and could get lots of comments on the sheets without wasting a lot of time and effort programming something that people couldn't use or didn't like.
Mac has been a tremendous help in this area, but you make it sound like I (and the other playtesters) had nothing to do with the sheets, and worse, like I'm stealing his sheet designs for use with my program, which is not the case. It was a joint design effort (admittedly, his side of the joint was much, much larger than the others) among playtesters, and he wanted to make those sheets available for everyone to use in the meantime - a further test of their usefulness for that purpose.

OK. It`s just that I knew I`d seen those sheets somewhere before. Mac`s site does say they`re to be used for HMAero (possibly).
