Okay after watching a few of the episodes on Cartoon Network I was wondering if they had the show out on DVD like say season 1 all there?

You should try Amazon.com The answer to your question is yes.
Now, I have always preferred Samurai Ho-down to the much praised Comboy Beebop. Of course, let's not forget runners-up of fine Japanese animation like Ninja Tango, Canadian Mounted Police Macarena, Nazi Waltz, Space Alien Square Dance, and the overlooked Middle East Terrorist Jam Party.

All 26 episodes are available on 6 DVDs...I believe they are getting a boxed set for the series coming out soon (if it hasn't already)...
There is also a movie that either has been released already, or will be shortly...I don't believe that it's been put on DVD yet, but it should be soon...

Now that was a good response.
Middle East Terrorist Jam Party. I'm going to be chuckling over that all day.

Yep, there is- the title is 'Knocking on Heaven's Door' and takes place between the episodes 'Cowboy Funk' and 'Brain Scratch.' Haven't seen the movie yet- or those two episodes, for that matter. Finally got to see the last episode tho.
Who all here thinks Spike survived?

I will add two points to the IQ rating of the first person that can tell me what words in the title represent in the show. (Note: the words have seperate refenences) And yes, I already know.
*Warning: Minor scene spoiler for the last episode. Nothing too major, but still slightly important.
I love the last episode. Especially the scene where Spike walks into the Red Dragon office, drops a grenade and just casually kicks it to the side.

That one was on last night...if it's the same one where he is fighting the other guy with the sword and he is using his gun as a sword?

That "other guy" is Vicious. He was brought into the Red Dragon syndicate by Spike. I assume you know why Spike tried to kill him in the last episode?
