Yeah I will be running around Boston on the weekend of the 13th...as its the weekend i hit the big three-zero!
I will running around looking for things to do while the Mrs is doing her Jeapardy tryouts.
so if any of you are in the boston area, might be able to give me some ideas for places to go, hotels to stay at, and or if there are any games join on that weekend, let me know.
Also I sent an email to Mordel about a potential Con in Albany, NY to celebrate the release of the upcomming Miniatures Rulebook which I was involved in doing the art for.
Drop me an email if anyone is interested, or could give me suggestions. Thanx.

I'm up for a game of BTech at my house in Danvers (about 20 mi. North of Boston) on that Sunday from 12-6 if your interested Bombtech, and anyone else in the general vicinity including the gang who came to HorhiroCon I. LMK.

PS. while your in Boston you could do the following:
Take a tour of Fenway Park, very kewl and cheap.
Go to the observation deck of the John Hancock Building (not absolutely sure if they still do this after 9/11)
Boston Science Museum is great, also has an IMAX theatre there.
Boston Aquarium if very very nice!
Complete Strategist, nice gaming shop on Mass Ave.
Take a walk on the Freedom Trail (follow the red line on the sidewalks) includes stops at Old Ironsides (USS Constitution), Quincy Market, and Fanuiel Hall (geat eats!), & old north church (I believe Franklin and Adams are buried there)
"Jillians", bar and pool tables & tons of video games on Landsdown st, behind Fenway Park. Or go clubbing at Mammakins and other hot clubs (same street, open all night)
Take the T Redline out to Harvard Square (Cambridge) Lots of cool shops and eats,and stroll thru Hah-vad Yad! Play speed chess outside Au-Bon-Pain vs the gurus, and keep an eye out for Julia Childs.
And if your really bored head to Filenes Basement down-town and fight with the riff-raff over marked down-1day sale Wedding dresses!

argghh I can be free that Saturday, but got the grandparents coming to town that Sunday.
Don't forget to do Fanuel Hall if your in town.. great pubs all in that area.

Sorry Eric and the rest of the gang but it looks as thought that weekend is going to be a bust for me. My wife just informed me that she's made plans for us already.
Man I wish I didn't work in retail. Having to work every Saturday really puts a damper on one's gaming life.

IIRC they have a lot of stuff packed into a small store. not much elbow room but the stuff is piled up everywhere!
