Shaking Sharkkahn's hand laughing, " i think your friend Lurch there is in the 'mind over matter' catagory. He's the biggest mass, so it dont matter. Wonder if they make a tuxcedo that big?" _________________ Steiner Forever!

The Major finishes up and plugs in the pinball machine which glows and beeps and returns to the living as it were. "I think a better question is who's big enough to tell him he has to wear it?" The Major gives the pinball machine one last go around. "I think it's fixed, but all the high scores have gone back to the factory defaults." He sighs. "Maybe I'll go for it again some time."

"Null Signature, Wow!" says Ironhand very impressed, "That is the ticket, Major. Love ta see the specs on that. My 'Hammer is not especially fancy as much as updated. I get the best systems and goodies i can find. The only thing that I've installed that I'm kinda proud of is a 'remote system'. I got it hooked into my neuro-helmet and i can remote control it from the ground by IR-beam connection. It's only line of sight mind you, but it does let me work on it a whole lot easier and get it fired up quicker. It's kinda nice when your on the ground checking something out and can still use your machine guns." grins Ironhand. " I also have armored compartment on the leg that i stow my Inferno ammo for my SRM:2 shoulder launcher. It's got a blow out panel, so if they ignite...Boom out the side and away from me. Better to keep those things safe than rattling around." _________________ Steiner Forever!

Shaking Slythis' hand, " no hard feelings here. " says Ironhand, "Personally, I wasnt to hip on the operation myself, but I wasnt there...so hard to say. How did you get to Corporal so quick? I mean, I started messing around in the 'mech hanger when i was 14, but not out in the field." _________________ Steiner Forever!

"A remote link?" The Major grins. "That is fascinating. If you teach me how to set that up, perhaps I can find another Null-Signature system." The Major coughs. "I have... some contacts... who deal with that sort of thing."

The Major stands at attention and raises his can of AMP. "To fallen comrades!" Her drinks.

*raises Glass of tea and drinks* actually I grew up in a resistance group, if you'll check the current map you'll find Hyperion is in the Wolf OZ, I piloted my first mech at age 10, never was very good tho, my talent lies in field command, thats how I made Colonel (yep as in a step down from General) at 16. My unit was wipped out because of a tactical error on my part....

"Ouch!" replies Ironhand, "I guess wars make ya grow up quick. Feel like telling the story?"

I have posted at thread on the story board here titled "Tales From the Bar & Grill". It's for those short background developement stories or general 'fish' stories that each of you have on your characters that may be a little long for this forum, but are very interesting. So pony up to the board, and let's have some fun;) _________________ Steiner Forever!

Sure, sounds worse than it was though, my family and most of my men's families followed the Wolves in Exile so we really weren't up against that for too long... (I'll post the rest in that other thread)

"Actually..." The Major points over to the newly repaired machine. "I just finished. When Sir Henry turned it over to me there wasn't much left to do."

In a shadowed corner at a table set for two a figuer dressed in gray sturs and then finaly awakens. he pushes up his cavalry hat and looks at the new comer. after staring at the kid with his cold green eyes. After a moment he puts the hat on the table and then walkes over to the bar. As his drink is pored he remarkes.
" who is the kid. I thoutght that only true warrors were alowed in here."
he then turns to the ironhand whoes eyes go to the three wide long snow white scars on the right side of his face that run from hair line to lower jaw.
" the name is name is Dean DeLacy aka lancer. Galixy commander of the Hell's Ghosts of clan ghost bears or in the merc relm we are the lancers. I will make the intro for my brother since he is not hear the bommander of the Maroders. we just call him storm. he is one of the old ones hear as well."
