=Overview=
Occasionaly the advantages of a BattleMech far outweigh their cost, unless you honestly do not have the money to afford one. Vehicles, unless in massive numbers, are to weak to fight against a BattleMech, and now that most vehicle companies seem to be building their newest fighting designs around Fusion and XL Fusion engines, the cost of these units as skyrocketed. However, there are people who care. People who realize that cheap, efficient technolgoies can overwhelm highly advanced technology every time. People like the Russian government of Bryant.
Imagine for a moment that you could take an ICE powered BattleMech and go head to head with a Fusion Powered BattleMech and almost win. This was the challange presented to the mysterious Uziel the Tinker, the shadowy figure of Solaris 7, who opperates under the code name Vagabond. Accepting this challange, Vagabond settled down on Bryant to build the first series of ICE powered BattleMechs, combing technicians from Outreach and the Russians own engine plants.
=Capabilities=
Designed to take on a heavy of pre-fourth succesion war technology BattleMech, the Pahtkah is a cheap alternative for worlds that wish to have new technology without the price, and keep the efficiency. The weapons load out reflects this, maximum damage for minimum weight. Only the ICE engine is unavoidably heavy. Thanks in great part to Outreach much of this is possible, and is an example of the sort of BattleMech technology now coming from the Grazhdanin BattleMech Factory.
The GB1 Pahtkah, or Vagabond in Russian, has exploited every new technology that Outreach has graced Bryant with as part of their efforts to unify the Chaos March under a new banner. Endosteel is the largest development, but still easier for the Russians to make and opperate on their own then Fusion engines. The weight savings from the EndoSteel allow more weapons to be loaded, by saving weight from the heavy ICE engine. This weight saving allows the Pahtkah to have moderate speed and a heavy weapons load, which is ideal for fighting in a city.
Two machine guns mounted in a turret, and an LB 10X AC opposite provide most of the fire power for use against tanks and infantry, the most common city opponents. An SRM 6 pack is also included which makes the Pahtkah even more dangerous. After the solid slug ammunition of the LB opens up an opponent mech, the SRMs can start looking to damage vital and fragile internal components of the unit. Two two medium lasers are there to drill even more holes into the armor plating of opponent units.
Its primary advantage however, lies in its cost. At only 4 million a pop, this is, perhaps, one of the cheapest heavy mech units around, even with the new and expiremental technology on it!
=Variants=
Currently there are no Variants of the Pahtkah.

Nice. Most of the new Russian equipment continues to leave me impressed.

As it should. Bryant was taken over by Czar Nicholas III and has since began development of massive pieced of war equipment (the Ogre tank, the only mass produced long tom artillery piece btw) is my favorite. Vagabond and myself are working hard on this stuff!

Why not move a DHS into the LA so you can put the LBX ammo in the LT?
(Wow, lotta UMAs.)

well... theres a reason why the ammo's way off in no mans land...
i sent the file to raven, he edited it so that the lb-x covered the left arc; thus complimenting the RT Turret MG's.
so i corrected his editting typo's:
1] Theres is now no Left Hand Actuator... and there is now a Right Hand Actuator.
2] The ammo rides piggy back to the lb-x so it now reads 3tons lb-x ammo in the Right Arm.
so as you can see, your suggestion was already done. i'm glad you like it... i pourposely chose 65t as it seems to be the underdog most of the time of heavies.
