I was going to use the BattleMech map editor to design Fort Bradley, but it dosen't have the ability to put walls on maps.
Also, I'd like something that can save it as an image file instead of something only the program can read.
Anyone know of anything I can use?

Is that the BME that you're using? Or are you just calling your program by that name? Because the BME does have the ability to save as BMP's and JPG's as well as add hexes with walls. In fact, you can design your own stuff and easily add'em into the program for use on your maps too. I think the program's pretty good myself. Aside from a minor bug here and there.

That is the program, but if it can add walls and save as images, I don't know how.
And checking the proof from the current game, Mordel's editor is pretty good. But I wonder how much more work is necessary before it'd be done.

Well, the version i have is v11.9 or is it v0.11.9? Anyways, if you click on Map, then Export, you can save the file as a BMP or JPG.
I'm going to put the program, with all my hex & map additions, up on my website later today if you want to try using that. It has a lot more that you can do with it as far as what you can add to/on the maps.
