==Overview:==
One of the many mechs that ComStar's Mech
Research and Devlopment Group (MRDG) had on
the drawing board for years, it would take
the herendous fighting on Tuykiad to bring
this mech into existance.
Precentor Martial gave the okay for 4
Ragnarok to be built. The hope was to see
how they preformed and then go into full
production.
Unfortunely events in 3057 changed all of
that. The Word Of Blakes assault and capture
of Terra, landed them a win fall when they
captured the MRDG faciality with three of
the four pre-production models.
At this time the where abouts of the fourth
Ragnarok is unknow, though rumor has it
either with the ComGuard or hidden somewhere
on Terra waiting to be used to liberate the
planet from tryanny that is the Word of
Blake.

This reminds me slightly of the Word of Blake/Free Worlds Leauge Toyama. But MUCH bigger.
I'll miss the cluster rounds of the LBX, but the Gauss is a nice headcapper.
I highly recommend CASE instead of the minimal protection of that SLas though.

That's a little better for the 'War of the Gods'.....

I personally would prefer the machine to be slower with a standard or Light engine & the CASE. IS XLs have a way of killing the unit, especially when combined with Gauss Rifles.

You can`t have everything
A Gauss coupled with two ER PPCs will do a whole lot of damage long before the Ragnarök has to worry about the XL engine.
Team it up with a few close-range sluggers like the old Victor (or the RAC variant) and it`ll be fine.

I agree with CO_17thRecon, it really needs the case.
Otherwise, get another heat sink or add some armour. _________________ Loyalty above all else except honour!

I did the best I could WITH taking what was given via the SNES MECHWARRIOR game...besides if I had put everything it actually carried in that game, there wouldn't be enough crit spaces on the mech sheet...

You took this from the SNES game?
Hmmm.
I wonder how many other "MechWarrior" 'Mechs exist that never got record sheets and a spot in the TROs.

There are tons of them...I know of at least 2 from some update flyers, one was a Solaris mech and the other was a Clan 15 tonner...both made by FASA and never got a sheet.
Then there are the mechs in the book Solaris the Reaches as well as the one that popped up in Rouges and Roylate.
I believe Wars of Inner Sphere web site as a list of mechs that never made it to mech sheets or if they did never made it into a TR.
The links below should give you a list...
