Have you ever been to "King Richard's Faire" in Carver Mass? It runs weekends this time every year.

I've been there. Loved it, even if I couldn't eat half the food... I bought a Halbard from there. Used for a while... I do the Medieval thing every chance I get, about once a weekend.....

No I haven't. I've heard good things about it, and I should probably go one weekend before I move in December.

Medeivel times is a fun show, and decent food.
Some of the blades are made out of (Damn cannot remember which metal), but it gives off a huge shower of sparks when struck against steel..
The blade fights are very well orchestrated, MUCH better than King Richard's faire, which is also a fun place.
The jousts are also very well done. On the one I went to, you would swear that they were hitting each other.. There was no 2 foot miss distance.

I went there both times I vacationed in Florida, enjoyed the show. Even bought my first sword there. _________________ "Those who beat their guns into plows will plow for those with guns..." -Thomas Jefferson
