You know...many of us have little secrets we dont want the world to know. The kinds of things we are ashamed of, and would rather gouge our eyes out than let the world know. BUT! I come to you today to tell you of a few of these secrets that shall not be secrets anymore! For I care not what you think of me! I AM PROUD!
1) I have owned, played and LIKED the Pokemon games for the Gameboy. I have watched, laughed and cried during the show. I have bought, owned and played the Pokemon trading card game...and was BEATEN by a kid 10 years my junior!
On the flip side...I also only spent $20 on cards, and made $50 at a garage sale off of them.
2) I am a huge fan of corny martial arts films from the 70s/80s. I own several and have watched them several times.
3) I think Dance Dance Revolution and the rest of those zany music games are awesome, and play them when i have the chance.
4) I like Pro Wrestleing, and ofetn find myself debating a particular angle or story a certain person in the WWE is being thrust into. Wrestleing games are the coolest games in the world...mainly cause its a fighting game with a career and unparralled creation aspects!
5) I would rather be watching Modern Marvels than Super Sluts in Las Vegas! (though I might switch between the 2 in commercials).
6) In most World War II games (READ: Close COmbat) I am usually zee Germans.
7) I think Beethoven could out-thrash Metallica or Dream Theater any day of the week.
8) I have a copy of The Sims...AND the Beta of the Sims ONLINE
9) I was addicted to Everquest for 3 weeks.
10) Jackass is the best show ever....for its educational purposes...of course!

Pokemon. You freak!
But Beethoven probably could out-thrash Metallica. They haven't been doing so well in the last couple of years.

Their new one should be decent. They say they like it more than they have in a few tries...AND they are letting Kirk write too!!!

I agree/it applies to me, with all of those things. but on Pokemon I was like 12 when it came out so I have an excuse to like it. I LOVED the card game and won like 20 tourney's.... It was a d*mn good game, I'll still play it with my buddies once in a blue moon at 4:00 AM when we have nothing better to do.

Hell...Pokemon is up to somewhere around episode 273 in Japan and apparently still on, according to the second issue of the American edition of Newtype magazine...
Yu-Gi-Oh! is up to ep 125 and still going...

And the new GBA Pokemon games just hit shelves in Japan a few weeks ago (over 2 million sold in the first weekend...not bad). Cant wait for the American release...i might have to get a GBA for them.

If you do get a GBA, for god sakes, get Advance Wars! Great game...
