Iam looking for a Clan mech that meets the following:
1 - Weighs either 50 or 55 tons.
2 - Is highly effective at and below range 10.
3 - Has very few (prefer no) ballistic weapons, and minimal missles.
4 - Needs to be good for tackling superior numbers.
5 - Good strike rate for an average Clan pilot.
6 - Was designed up to and including 3060.
7 - Moves at least 4 MP at walk.
8 - Prefer NO Pulse Weapons

OK.
Basically, this mech is for a trial.
Iam really looking at 55T, to maximize potential for the weight class.
The reason I set the speed to 4 min, is so that it would open up "heavier" mediums.
The opposition is Clan, and they outnumber 3 to 1. The lack of ballistic is to avoid the inevitable crits, and I plan to stay within 10 of my opponent. I don't want pulse weapons, because I want more range (favourable mod).
Clan Honour Rules are in effect, so I only have to worry about one at a time, but I still have multiple opponents.
Does that clear up the confusion?

Stromcrow B. One Ultra/AC 20 and 6 ER Medium Lasers. What more do you want?
Or, for something completely perverse, take the Black Hawk H. 10 Medium Heavy Lasers should prove interesting, to say the least.

Unless you have a small map you might have trouble keep your opponent at the range you desire if you are as slow as 4 walking MP, that and you get better move modifiers at 5+ MP.
As already mentioned the Nova Prime and H are nasty for what you desire. The Stormcrow Prime and B should also work well. There is the Ghost Bear secondline machine Ursus which would work as well. Stopping Hawk C or D fit your criteria as well. Last but not least you could always take a Hellhound.

How about a Ryoken? 6/9 will let you dictate the range and give you good mov mods. Maybe the B, gives you lots of stopping power and 6 er meds?
