If I remeber some of you scum live in or near Las Vegas. I will be arriving around 3pm tomorrow Tuesday the 18th. SO maybe if you have rules, dice, and some minis (or cardboard you cheap bastards) then we can smash and bash. I am staying at a Residence Inn so I should have room at my place, or we can meet elsewhere. I can not play too late as I to actually work the next day.
I am in Reno today and if you lived up here, sorry I had time but did not think of it.

ya... i'm in Vegas, and i'd love to play a game of BT.
what is too late? i'll probly be busy with therapy till 5pm, thou i can move stuff about. the earliest i can start thou is like 3pm.

well, it is done......
the forces where random and i let the DCMS down.
the maps where desert hills and scattered woods.
the forces:
AWAD- stiener: 1 Caeser 3/4, 2 Hatchetman 2/3 n 3/4, and 1 Enfield 3/4.
Vagabond- kurita: 1 Avatar 3/4, 2 wolftraps 2/3 n 3/4, and 1 strider 3/4.
the game started with the scattered woods west, desert hill east, both label down. i picked to start on the desert hills, and we quickly placed our troops. 3rd lvl rules where: floating crits and deadzones.
the first round was typical, move. the second round had me seizing the hill and gaining partial cover, AWAD continued to march forward. third round showed the begining of combat, with me drawing first blood on the Enfield.
It was in the fourth round that all hell broke loose. AWAD charged forward with his Enfield, probing my playing style. Mean while he moved his Caeser on top of the wooded hill on his side of the map, while moving around the sides with his hatchetman. I moved my avatar into view, and managed to get my strider behind his enfield.
The weapons fire was bruital and quick, with me pounding the enfield with over 30pts of damagge. nocking out its large pulse laser and getting the only head hit for my side in the game. his return fire seemed viscious and accurate, but didn't mull me as bad as i him.
the fifth round began the melee, as all his units closed range and i moved my strider and wolftrap [3/4] into melee with one of his hatchetmen while moving my avatar into a good position to pound the enfield again. the fire was again mean, with me scoring 10 SRM hits with my strider on the hatchetman.
the enfield again refused to fall, and AWAD's return fire grouped well on my avatar, with a guass shell stripping the armor from my CT. thou my physicals landed and caused some minor damage.
the sixth turn showed the turning point of the battle, with my avatar taking a killing blow from a guass shell. but in a stroke of luck AWAD's enfield fell to the fire of the avatar as it destroyed his LT. my strider did not fair well during this turn and i was forced to attempt a retreat, but it was for not as heat and damage felled him in the seventh round.
thou not destroyed he could no longer move nor could he fire, so he surrendored. my wolftraps bravely put up a fight and caused the damaged hatchetman to fall, crushing his ammo bin. the odds where grim with my wolftrap [2/3] heavily damaged and recieving a gyro hit.
at this point i just tried to scavenge a minor defeat by retreating my wolftraps, but with his damage and his lb 10-x just recently disabled the attempt was for not as the caeser moved to finish the job. sending a guass shell thru the ruined left arm, thru the last bits of torso to desimate the remains of the CT, as ppc and 2 ml felay armor of the last wolftrap.
his armor so weakened that the resulting kick and failed pilot roll resulted in the destruction of his leg.
and with that, the battle was won.
AWAD proved victories and was a pleasure to play. thne aftert battle tally showed he had a 500 bv advantage.
so that the game, when we meat again i will show AWAD the stregth of the dragon.

His Enfield soaked up too much damage and time.
In my experience the Caesar is a sweat machine firepower wise, though it is lacking in the armor/surviviability category. I think it would have helped Vagabond big time if he could have hammered on his machine early on.

thats about the outlook me and AWAD came to after the game. the Enfield took a round too long and i failed to properly disengage my strider.
but overall it was a grand game.
