Don't know, I've only read the book. The Dune TV production hasn't been aired in Finland, so it's not likely I'll get to see the Children on TV either. Who cares? I bought the Dune TV series on DVD!

Yeah, I have it too. The production on Children is a LOT higher...it doesnt look fake this time!

Fake? I didn't have time to check what looked fake, I watched the series 
But seriously, if I can get my hands on the Children I'll buy - hmm, sounds creepy. 
If I can find a copy of the Children series I'll buy it.

Just the way they did the backgrounds
the technique is cheaper than on location, or CGI...but the effect is terrible

From what I remember, they pretty much followed most of what was in Dune Messiah (that was the second book, right?) pretty well...but I've only read the first and second books, and the House Harkonnen prequel, so I won't know about the rest...
I do need to read the rest of the series sometime...

Yeah....i started Dune Messiah about 4 and got bored each time i tried...
