Oh how in the hell did Chicago beat out LOTR: two towers? Then again how did the Two towers lose to anything in the 5 categories it was nominated in. The only thing I wouldnt have minded it losing in was Visual effects, but only if that was to Starwars Episode 2.
I know it may just be me but I REALLY wish they would stop snubbing fantasy and Sci-fi (especially when its well done).

It's above their head. They couldn't care how real it looked, as long as one of the Academy can be made to look good. As George Lucas and Peter Jackson are High on the Academy's list, don't expect Many Oscar's to come there way.

Have you even seen Chicago? its an awesome movie...better that Two Towers was.

The artsy judges in the film community have always had a thing for musicals, double if it includes lots of T&A, so Chicago was a shoe in. I would rather have the LOTR win some awards.
