I would like to congradulate CSS Herod on fighting his way through the ranks to take 1st Place in regular season playing. Of the 20 battles allowed in the season his final record was 17 wins, 2 losses and 1 tie, which is an amazing 85% win ratio. Congradulations to CSS Herod on representing Mordel's Bar & Grill in such spectacular fashion! Now lets see if his skill and daring can allow him to bring the Season 5 EBL Championship back to the Bar & Grill!
The end of this season seen one of the most eventful last days ever. Of the 156 games played during the season, 26 of those games were played during the last 24 hours! CSS Herod played 4 of those last day games and won them all, but Ian Davion managed to squeeze in 11 games that last day to make the playoffs in 6th Place! That gives us two records for most games played in a day by the EBL and one person.
Season 6 of the EBL will start on July 1st. I hope tp one again see members of the Bar & Grill coming over to participate. Thanks you and may your ammo bins always be full.

Well, if i had to guess, I would suspect it most likely has to do with the version of Java you have, rather then Megamek itself, but who knows.
I'm far from an authority, but I'd be happy to try and give you a hand if you reconsider.
I just can't say enough about it because it is so "close" to where it needs to be, - and it is so rapidly improving.

Chihawk's problem is he is still using Windows ME. Once he gets an OS that is more stable, then he can complain about MegaMek. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Chihawk, when you put the latest version on your computer you should not install it over the last version you had. Either put it in a new directory or delete all the old files in the current directory and then unzip the latest version into that spot. Give it a try and see if it works!

My problem is getting rid of the older version...it crashes my PC.
So to solve the problem I simply didn't download it again after I fixed the damage it caused the last time.

How are you getting rid of the older version, and why is it crashing your PC? All you're doing is deleting the files in the MegaMek directory. Not sure why it would screw up your PC. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Deleting it is not a problem...afterward when I empty my recycle bin it causes Norton Systemworks to crash and deletes some network files, locking my internet connection and then preventing an internet connection after I shutdown/restart.
The same exact thing happened 3 times.

Well, I'm not one to force anything on anyone, however, if you do "give it a shot" again... Try disabling Norton before you delete the old files, and re-enable when your done.
There is a lot of good competition out there that has really "broadened my horizons" to a lot of things I hadn't seen before.
I'm sure the Bar and Grill crew could bring a lot to the various tournaments.
