I came across this webpage

and found the stories really entertaining "si non vero, ben trovato" (if it's not real, at least it's a good story)
I'm sure these stories are just a hoax, chihawk, could you verify this? if there's anybody that knows about urban legends it's you

Kraken is the one that looks everything up on those sites...I usually know what's fake and just use them as proof
I haven't read the book in question but after reading that page I wouldn't doubt if at least some of them are true...

I can do some of the digging, but no promises.
And some of it will be off of memory, as I did wind up having to do a paper on him about four years ago.

The bit about the US dollars is legit. Hitler planned to drop the dollars (all counterfeit) behind Allied lines in order to distract the Allied soldiers and disrupt the Allies' economies. What they said about the Allies finding all of them undropped is correct as near as I can recall from seeing this from the History Channel a bit back.
As far as the rest goes, I'll have to do some digging.
