I am going to run another PBeM game of The Race. For those that don't know The Race is a 3 lap race aound a figure-8 track.
There will be some rules changes from last game and spots will be offered to those who raced last time first. Players will be added as needed.
To play you will need to answer 2 e-mails a week, one with a deadline of Wednesday evening at 8pm EDT and one with a deadline of Saturday evening at 8pm EDT.
People wanting to sign up that didn't play last time should e-mail me at chihawk@mordel.net to be added to the list.

How about special equipment?
You know, a ton of marbles.
A flamer that shoots oil, not gel or superheated air.
Maybe we can fit our Mechs with giant rollerskates, and use JJ's to scoot us about the track!
Hmm, must do a websearch for herochip's stuff. I'm sure he cooked up something useful for this scenario.

I'm not surprised there aren't any takes Sir Henry...after listing to some of the "war stories" here and then seeing the tactics of some of these guys in Mordel's game I can see why some might not want to play

If I wasn't buying and selling a house, relocating across the state, dealing with 2 babies ages 14 and 1 month, and already participating in Chihawk's PBeM, I would be in!
But as Clint Eastwood put so elegantly:
"A man has got to know his limitations...."
Although I suppose I could play like PIN does, and just give any old damn orders and still win anyway

This is a "conversation" between me and Pin last game...it's not exact but you'll get the idea.
P: I need to cool down so I won't fire my medium lasers this turn
