Is there anyone here who plays the BattleTech card game? I use to, but no one else did. So now I have all the cards in binders for collecting purposes only.

I also have cards in binders and a list of what I'm looking for to finish my sets...I've never played the game and don't have much interest in it.

I bought some cards, and played maybe two games.
Basically it was huge, and then suddenly dissapeared.
Wouldn't mind another game though!

Do you still have the cards? I bought so many of the damn things. I have the completed sets and then I also have another of the monster boxes full of them and a bunch of rares. FOr a while I was putting together 700 count boxes and selling them on eBay.

I bought every last card I could get my hands on, I still try to teach people to play, but most aren't interested in learning how to play a game you can't buy anymore. Let's protest in front of WOTC!

If anyone is looking to dump "mech" cards LMK as I will be interested in some for my boys to teach them the mechs.

Thanks Mordel! Just remember....I have NOT signed anything. Of course we could always just barter for those pics that Hardware gave me of you and his pitbull.......
of course I don't actually have those pics yet, but as soon as I'm finished blackmailing him with a threat to show his G.F. the pics involving him and mauled-ketchup bloodied GI Joes from the '70s, I WILL have them!

Just remember, I have pictures of your from the '70's. Your wife will probably forgive you the clothing and the haircut, but they can be posted on the internet and the URL anonymously mailed to everyone at your company.

Although i havnt played the BT TCG for a long time, i count myself to the players of the BT TCG.
I have ranked 2nd in the 1998 German National championships and participated in World Championships 1998 too.
Years ago, i even organized official BT TCG tournamets in Vienna and convinced a store owner to organize the 2nd season of the Outpost Leage.
I have finished my collection long ago, and have at least one copy of each card of each set, including the special DCI editition.
But i am still looking for cards to fill my "sixpack" of 6 of each nonj-unique card.

How about making your own new expansion with PDF-Images of the cards ?
Then you and anybody who is interested in playing this game can print these cards for personal use to continue playing the game.
As long as you dont sell your new BT TCG cards, you shouldnt get problems with owners of the copyright ( WizKids and WotC ).
Reprinting published cards in this way may be prohibited as someone may mistake them for the original cards, so you should make a disclamer on your own new designs of EACH card to inform everybody that this are not the original cards.
This is the best form of protest, which has the advantage that it shows the owners of the copyrights that there still is a market for BT TCG cards too

I have a small collection myself, though likely nothing fancy. I originally started to try to collect just to see what it was and because it was Battletech oriented. I had some interest in actually playing, but I never once found anyone that was also interested at the time, as well as actualy knew how to play as well unfortunately. Which, given that I never had the chance to play, I myself do not really know how to play either, so I couldn't exactly go about trying to teach anyone

I have the same problem with the Wing Commander Trading Card Game
Fortunatley i live in a big city with more than 1 million inhabitans, so the chances of finding someone who shares my passion is higher than average
The BT TCG game has died in our area after WotC stopped supporting this game too.
But recently i had been able to revieve this game and interest a few bored CBT players for BT TCG
