Well, I didn't tell you, but last weekend I attended the largest yearly Finnish 'con. The RopeCon 2003 was the tenth incarnation of that magnificent happening, and there was much rejoicing. Lots of old friends to speak with, lots of games to play, lots of hours to stay awake. I managed to GM two games of Praedor, a Finnish fantasy RPG. I also played in a CyberPunk 2020 ScumPunk game, a game of old-style Marvel SuperHeroes and some fiddling with 2nd edition AD&D. It was totally grand, even if we never got around to playing BattleTech. We'll do it some other time. 
Unfortunately I'm no longer as tough as I once was. I had to sleep for 21 hours straight after I got home from the 'con! And then my summer vacation ended, and I've already pulled my first night shift. 
Oh yeah, I'll be thirty next month.

I'm 29, and I feel the exact same way as I did when I was 20. Except the pants are a couple sizes bigger now. And the hair is slightly greyer. And I now have screaming kids!

My friend's daughter isn't old enough to play anything yet. She was born on June 30th, the first child for anyone of our old RPG group.
