Star Wars fans spend time building suits for the fan club armies, don't they? I think I have a recruitment poster for the 501st Storm Trooper Regiment lying around somewhere. These people spend thousands of € on the suits! They do a lot of appearances at 'cons but also charity work, like visiting childrens' hospital wards and such.
