Two questions as I try to catalog my cards. What distinguishes the sets from each other looking at them. Unlimited and limited are green and black border but I don't remember which is which. also what is the best way to track cards including number of each. I started to use deck builder and could see how to show multiple of each card when starting a new set. All I saw was card included in set check box.
thanks, rick.

*from an earlier thread*
Me: Is there visible difference between Limited and Unlimited? I want to find out if I have any Limited cards.

Mordel: The difference is obvious, as it should be. The Limited and Unlimited refer to the initial released set. All cards from the unlimited set have a green border while cards from the limited set have a black border. |

I need to find out where I put all my sets since they're not where I thought they were. But before I begin the long search, you're asking how to differentiate between the various sets by looking at the cards?
Also, you mentioned the Deck Builder and the checkbox about having the card in the set. There is also a box on the Tracking tab that you can keep track of how many of each of the cards you have. When you are putting the set together, this number ppears at the bottom in the status panel.

Yes that is what I want to find out. I need to know which set the card is from to accurately track them. I thought this would be an easy question to answer. I didn't mean to cause problems for anyone.
Ok, i see the tracking and didn't think about the "For trade" just tracking numbers. duh

Every Black Bordered expansion card has letters in the back ground of the fluff text box. Like C for Couterstrike, MW for Mechwarrior, A for Aresenal and M for Mercenaries. Telling apart Commander's Edition and Crusade cards is a bit tougher. They look exactly alike as far as I remember.

They are very similar. The only difference I can recall is under the left hand set of resources there is a Red/White sort of shield for the Crusade set. I really need to look at my cards to be sure, but I know there is something different around there between the two sets. And I swear it was a red and white shield like image.

| The Crusade cards are showing the AUSTRIAN FLAG COLORS ( red/white/red in three equaly wide horizontal stripes ). The 1 card DCI expansion ( = Double Overtime ) shows the 3 letters DCI in black on the same place as the Crusade symbol, which is empty in the Commanders Edition.
