" Greetings to you all. nice to meet you, instead of trying to kill you"
sitting down and leaning over to Ladyhawke " They don't get a lot of women here do they?" Smiling and pulling out a wad of C-bills she tells the room " Drinks are on me. cuz tomorrow I am going looking to find Norton's old rifleman. anyone want to come along for some fun?" her gray eyes flashing like steel.

" Sure, you remember the Solaris champion name of Norton. Well he ran a rifleman to take the title. Later Justin Allard drove it. then he left and it was taken to Sian and put into storage. All we gotta do is go get it. real simple."

Spook suddenly speaks up. "'The Legend Killer' Grey Noton.. Rumor has it his Rifleman was far from standard, probably either a prototype from the Star Leauge era or a highly modified stock rifleman with star-leauge era weapons loadout. Either way, it is rumored to mass somewhat more then the rifleman's usual tonnage, and carried him all through out his career. If I may ask, what is your interest in Noton's 'Mech?"

*takes the nearest open seat* That kind of job is NEVER simple... thats also the kind of job where you're healthy knowing less about what you're up against... I'm in, love this kind of work.
*hear spooks question*
I get the impression shes looking to "aquire" the machine.

"You know of it then. well my intrest IS in owning it. kinda wondering about it also. I figured it was at least an 80 tonner and proably had some ultra Ac's" she says with a devastating smile to Slythis.

"Ultra Fives, Large Pulse Lasers and Double strength coolers, if I do not miss my guess."
He shrugs his shoulders lightly. "It is an interesting piece of history, but such technology is available elsewhere. Sian is also not exactly a candy store. If it were possible to steal the Griffins behind the throne of the Archon on Tharkad, I am certian that someone would attempt it. The value of the prize is dubious however, would retreiving Noton's 'Mech be worth risking the wrath of the Maskarova? Not always the most stellar of intelligence services, allowably, but certianly having become far more potent as of late." _________________ "Slavish adherance to formal ritual indicates one has nothing better to think about." -Natahsa Kerensky

| O.K. lets see now It is most likely in some kind of warehouse type structure so I definatly need to bring Demolition blades .Just who has possession of this mech right now and how will we justify relieving them of it and what kind of resistance will they put up?

*Sitting at the bar, he hears the magic word, and saunters over tothe gathering of newcomers* Did someone say Sian? That means Capellans and they need to be repaid. Pray tell, will the infamous Red Lancer be nearby? I have a little matter to, errr, discuss with them. If we are welcome, I have a full cluster of Fire Mandrills ready and willing to fight our way to Sian.

Fox nods while he is bolting in Mordel's new transperisteel window, his exoskeleton's hydraulics whining occasionally. "I agree with Sir Henry. Sun-Tzu Liao, much as I dislike admitting it, is no fool. You'll be destroyed from orbit by his Warships. Stealth would the key. Not only is it fitting to repay the Capellans by using tactics they love against them, but it has, historically, worked before."

in other words, how many cruise ship tickets need to be bought and can we get a hold of the schematics of the building. From my personal experiance getting the mech will be easy... getting it off of Sian is a completly different story.
