The bar is it's normal shade of dark. Many light bulbs need replacing, but have not yet been... some by choice, a few by chance. The shadows were thick in many corners of the bar, causing many of the patrons to remain largely unseen.
But Lo! The doors were thrust open and their was a furious light to be beheld!
The nocturnal dwellers of the dark places hid their eyes at the brightness, and were frightened. A light like this had not been witnessed by the assembled masses for many cycles of the moon and sun around the planet.
For today, Alexander has returned, and brought the pasty faced corner dwellers sunlight!
"How is this possible?" A few asked quietly to themselves. For the sun had not reached many of the dark, evil places of the interior of the bar in recent, or even distant memory.
The answer was revealed when Alexander spoke with a thunderous voice: "Are you all still here? The sun's just starting to rise! Doesn't anyone have a home to go to?"
And three was great rejoicing by the masses, for it was once again known that there was an outside world, and that someone out there cared for the colour of their pasty white skin. And that man was Alexander... Lord of the Random Comment, and Crowned Prince of the Eyes plastered shut Hangover!

Wow! A round! I think that's the first time that anyone's ever bought me a round here... Oh wait, I drink, and therefore have the memory capacity of a Goldfish! Oh well, a free round is a free round, and I'm one to look a free round in the bottom of the glass! Thanks buddy!

Am I going to stick around? he asks. Of course I'going to stick around. I'm already stuck to the floor at my spot at the bar (BTW chihawk, am I really this clumsy that my spot is always this sticky?).
I'm due to be deployed anywhere else anytime soon... as far as I know. But, whatever. If I go away again, my wife'll kill me. And, I have a real aversion to being dead, therefore, as the Foo Fighters say "I'll Stick Around!"

Paranoia is the belief that someone is out to get you (basically), regardless of whether or not they are. Since I know they are out to get me, I have a good excuse to be paranoid... and slightly neurotic, but that's only if my blood sugar level gets too low and I don't have any salt...

Nope, No salt here. Doc says I need to stay away from it. I do, mostly, I still use it to pour in wounds of my enemies....
