All I have to say is .... Go See IT!!!!!
For all you action addicts it may not go over well, has a big beginning and ending fight but the middle is more about, command, life at sea, and that time period. It pulls no punches about how crappy life was or all the superstitions, beliefs and the likes that were at the time.
Never read these books but I have read Horatio Hornblower, Sharpes, Leo Africanes, so I am big into historical fiction and this does it well.
Only thing that sucked I went on opening night and thought I would see it at the big screen...... I get the littlest one in the theater, that sucked.
AWAD- LOTR-RTG trailer just rocked

I've read both the Hornblower books and the Aubrey ones, so there was some fear it could be butchered, trailers looked promising, but this review nailed it

I've heard good things about this movie. Definitely something to check out when I next have the chance and motivation.

Yes! This movie looks very kewl. I'll go see it After Turkey Day, and after I've Whooped Arse on Hardware and my bro in "Enemy in Sight" it will be the perfect dessert!
