I wish I had bet more on the two games as I picked the winner of both. Which I would have done straight up. The Eagles are choke artists, especially their receiving corps [lotsa alligator arms in that group]

Not that you can do anything with your credits other than enjoy knowing you've won them.

I am glad I did not put any down. I would have broke even. I called the Eagles choking, but the colts, patriots game was too hard to call.

I kept having to change the channel during the Colts game. It was just sad. Manning is a good quarterback, but he just plain threw that game away. The Pats did not win so much by their own effort, they were given that game by the Colts.

Not entirely. That first pick that Law had was a thing of beauty. He broke from his coverage early anticipating the through and made a great one-handed leap to finish it off.
I do think there should've been at least 2 penalties called on the Pats near the end. There was obvious holding on the 3rd down pass (grabbing the back of the jersey and yankin' the guy counts as holding in my book). And the 4th downplay was blatant illegal contact as he bumped him (quite hard) almost 10 yards down the field. Both are penalties that were never called.

There were some questionable plays made near the end of the game. When they expect a pass is not the time to make a pass into coverage. I am sure I missed several good plays, but overall I saw poor play calling and some bad desicions made by Manning. All of this said, I am glad I don't play the game because I cannot throw a football worth a darn. So I can't pick on the Colts too much.

Of course you can. With the money these players make they're expected to perform at a level that warrants it. So if your superstar has a horrible day, you have every right to complain. And if you feel that way, imagine how ownership feels knowing they're paying this guy millions to throw INTs. Of course, they need to excercise caution with their comments, whereas we don't.

I can't see how the management of any team which consistantly makes the playoffs has much right to complain, even if their team does loose in the playoffs. Championships are decided by luck just as often as they are by skill. I have to say both game last week were rather disappointing; who wants to watch back-to-back blowouts. BORING! The Super Bowl is usually the same way.

I guess the way I look at it, I get ticked off when people can in to where I work and try to tell me how to do my job. So I tend to be a little nicer when professional players make mistakes. Now if they make a habit of it, then they need to go. But then again, I do not actually spend any money on sports teams, so I do not have a vested interest in them. I just watcch them for free on TV. Why spend $150 to sit in the cold and watch the BRowns lose when I can do it from the comfort of my own home?
