I finaly heard this song for the first time, yesterday....(NOTE: I'm only 15, and have only heard "another brick in the wall" and "run like hell")
Anyone else think the narrator killed the guy?

Nope, I tought the guy was describing the shot he took to make it thru a show, or maybe life. A lot of WWI/ WWII vetrans ended up addicted to pain killers, and the album "The Wall" seems to be a story about one.

It's scary, my son is only 5 years younger than he is... And my stepdaughter is only 3 years younger...

I saw The Wall for the first time in college and thought it was a great movie. It hits many different people that feel excluded from life. I have never done drugs but I still love most of Pink Floyds stuff. Has a nice groove to it.
