Yeeehawwwwwww!!!
ABout two weeks ago, I saved up my credits and bought the Map Set 7 from the Company Store. Granted, Im on the west coast, and Mordel is on the East, so it took some time to get here. And Gawddamn was it worth it!!!! Mord got it out here as fast as he could, and even went to the trouble of sending it in one of those padded envelopes. Kudos Mordel!!
The Maps look great. Theyre the quasi-glossy kind, so you wont have to worry about errant pencil marks, the terrain is clearly marked with elevation and woods/building types so you dont have to keep checking your notes as to what level the water is. The backs are blank, so you can make up your own terrain on it.
It may take work, but getting stuff from the Company Store is worth the time and effort. Ive already put in an order for the 3067 Tech Readout, and I might try for other goodies as well.
Mordel is looking for other ideas as to what to sell in the Store, and has pretty much decided that minis should be offered. If anyone has a request as to what they want to see (mechs, vehildes, infantry, protomechs, all of the above) post a note here, and see what happens.
Thanks Mordel!!!

Thank you... You've reaped the benefits of what the Store was designed for. You spent the time posting reviews (and continue to do so) and making it so others could have a better idea of the item being reviewed.
The fact that you've now purchased two things just for entering words on a form is an indication that it is worth it.
I will be looking into ordering some minis because I know people love those.

If you hadn't placed a wager on the C/IS battle you'd have enough already

I usually take bets not offer them. I'd rather see them play, that way I could calculate the proper Odds...
