After the fall of the Scylla and the Kodiak, only the daishi of the clan 100tonners remained.
As the Atlas and the Daishi made their way into the centre of the field, the Titan was continuously bombarded by both the Marauder and the Devastator. Taking away the other arm and breaching the left torso with a critical on the engine. The Atlas struck a blow on the Marauders head with LRM's (5 damage).
Meanwhile the sneaky King Crab pulled off a nice move putting it directly behind the Devastator, hitting with both of the UAC and LBX20's, The double shot from the UAC completely ripped the rear left torso away from the devastator, and the LBX scored several critical hits, straight after it was annihilated by both the Grand titan and the Daishi.
Next to fall was (unsuprisingly) the Titan, finished off by the Daishi and the Marauder. Leaving the final 4,
Badly damaged Daishi
Atlas & Marauder slightly damaged
Spotless Crabby!
The 4 stood roughly in a circle facing each other.

I told you guys the KGC would kick some major *** in this game. One player who knows how to play that design in this kinda match on said maps will win probably 40% of the games. Of course a single gauss or such to head ends its chances a lot too.

I can see an unspoken agreement forming... The King Crab is going to take some massed fire next round! Kill the AC/20s!

I think the Daishi and King Crab will team up. The Daishi can provide long range covering fire and the King Crab can keep the other away from the Daishi. The Marauder II is next to drop. Followed by the Daishi. _________________ If ignorance is bliss, then why are you so miserable?

They are stupid if they do not combine on the King Crab now.

I have to agree with the rest of the crew here. Team up on the Crab before it centers its fire on someone and starts putting big holes in torsos.

So after reading the final bit to this battle, I can say to all those who voted for other mechs...TOLD YOU SO!!
The Marauder rules once again. I think a celebratory round at the Bar is due to those of us who believed Iain the power of the Marauder.

I think the Crab deserves player of the match,
anyone got any mechs they want to see pitted in the 75ton brawl (no customs)
only one of each mech so if want Mad Cat Prime, say so. If want A speak now,
Battle date set to may the 20th

This creates all sorts of interesting scenarios we could try. How about a 20 ton speed freak brawl. I imagine a battle that looks like a swarm of gnats.

Actually i was working on that but the group of friends who play just seem to like the big boy brawls,
quite sad really,

Marauder MAD-5M and/or MAD-5S
Timberwolf Prime, A, D, and/or Pryde
Bandersnatch BNDR-01A
Falconer FLC-8R
Night Gyr PRIME, A, B, C (The B and C would be neat for the LB 2-X or Ultra AC/2's they carry, stay at long range and ding the opponents. The B has longer range and better back ups damage wise, but the C has a TC.)
Thats pretty much my fav 75 tonners. Others might suggest the penetrator or such, but nah

Well the Penetrator and the Orion will both make the group along with the Timber wolf and marauder, i'm looking for mechs which are claimed to be the best.
I am also considering the Thanatos, Rakshasa, Toyama and the Viper.
I would appreciate anyone who gives me their choices
