Ok, for those of you who had been following my 100ton mech spectacular, most of you will know that im planning a 75ton challenge match along the same lines, i have a large list of mechs which are hopefuls to get in the tournament.
-Black Knight BL-6-KNT
-Lao Hu LHU-3B
-Mad Cat A
-Marauder MAD-5D
-Orion ON1-M
-Penetrator PTR-4D
-Perseus P1
-Thanatos THS-4S
-Toyama TYM-1A
-Viper 2
-War Dog WR-DG-02FC
-Falconer FLC-8R
-Flashman FLS-9C
-Dragon Fire DGR-3F
Obviously i only want about 8 or 9 of these in the final battle, so i need you guys to tell me your preferences. If theres any mech ive missed which you would like please feel free to tell me.

Using 8 mechs as criterion, my order of preference would be:
Marauder MAD-5D
Orion ON1-M
War Dog WR-DG-02FC
Mad Cat A
Black Knight BL-6-KNT
Lao Hu LHU-3B
Penetrator PTR-4D
Falconer FLC-8R
These two would be alternates:
Flashman FLS-9C
Dragon Fire DGR-3F

drop the orion, it is worthless in a duel. remember, no teams its everyone for themselves so you need somewhat of a duelling mech

In these matchs there are 'teams' Ralgith, but they are more along the lines of the partnerships that develop on Survivor. I have played a few free for alls and have always noticed unspoke partnerships that will form for several turns. Up until the last 2-4 mechs you could survive in one of these in a lance support mech. Assuming they do not target you first. So the Orion could survive deep into the tourney, but the chances of it actually winning are more difficult.

Just for anyone who interested, this is the final list of mechs i will be using in the 75ton challenge, the fight will take place in a few days (we brought the day forward)

We are using 6 map sheets, two rolling hills, 2 river and the 2 from the original starter set.
