You know, I was going to sit here and rant about how much this Red Sox team sucks and list every little thing that is wrong with them (and the list is quite long), but you know what, I give up. It's not worth it. Until this team starts winning, I won't be watching baseball. I've sat through a lot of seasons with a lot of bad teams, but this one takes the cake. Until this team knows how to play and knows they need to win games, I'll be watching something else.

I had to slog through 9 years of suckiness by the Rams until they could re-learn how to win consistantly. Hey they won a super bowl. So hang in there, it will turn around.

Haha... apparently you haven't met the Red Sox. There are two things that piss me off more than anything else in the sport. One is walks. If you can't figure out where the strike zone is, get your ass back to A ball and learn.
The second is having the bases loaded with nobody out and not score. This team has done exactly that more times this year than I can ever imagine. When you do that and play sloppy, you're gonna suck.
The sad part of it all is their manager has them believing that they aren't a bad ballclub and they aren't underachieving. HELLO!!! Wake up and smell the .500 mark dude!! Your club is sucking frog shit through a straw. We know it, why doesn't he?
No... no more. No more Red Sox until after the All-Star break. Maybe by then they can figure it out. For now, I've got better things to do with my 3 hours.

Oh Mighty one, you should be proud of the way they are losing. The are doing it the old fashion way, Fundamentals. They could be doing it like the Tigers did last year. They invented all new ways of snatching defeat from the Jaws of Victory.
At least they can work on the fundamentals and it will make the better....

Exactly. And beyond that, at least you haven't had a scandal with fixed matches recently. Over here some teams managed to make the whole league lose by getting caught for fixing the results. Unfortunatlely for them it was thought suspicious when so many players were betting on games they play in. Greed can lead to stupidity. 
So it's not exactly baseball, but close. Bases, ball, bat, two teams. I never watch it. Icehockey fans regard it as sport for backwoods people with too few grandparents.  Of course, those who like the ball game hate hockey. It's a game for drunk hooligans from the big city suburbs.

I know how you feel Mordel. My team (the hapless Mariners) cant string together 4 wins in a row let alone 3. Its great to see a team that won 116 games 2 or 3 seasons ago be completely incapabile of challenging for a world series.
At least the Bosox are hovering around 500. The Mariners are at .408 last time I checked. 12.5 games out of first place and not improving. I stopped watching last season when they didnt make any worth while moves.

I feel your pain Mordel. I too Mariners fan also so we really understand what you go through there. My hopes have been dashed more times than I can remember. Since I have moved to Ohio I am so sick of hearing about the stupid Indians I started to pay more attention to teams like the Red Sox and have been hoping they could really spank the Yankees, but have been sorely disappointed.

Someday, when we move far enough away from "Bawwwstn" as Hardware has, the cloudiness in our brains will dissipate, and we will realize and be able to come to terms with the sad, sad fact that the sox will NEVER win the World Series in our lifetime!
Did we trade away Ruth? Yes!
Did we leave a crippled Bill Buckner in to play defense late in a winning WS game? Yes!
Did we leave Pedro in too long? Yes!
Were we able to dump Ramirez and get A-Rod? NOOOOOOOO!
Have the Yanks ever not won the pennant after having a 7 game lead during the season? NOOOOOOO!
Am I tired of hearing drunks at Fenway shouting "Yankee's Suck!" ? Yes! Why! Cause we're the ones who SUCK! Look in the mirror Red Sox Nation, and have another beer- YOU LOSAHS!

Here here!! I too am getting sick'n'tired of that "Yankees Suck" chant. I mean come on folks, get original! Now, I had to laugh my ass off when they put Grady's face up for each strike-out, that was a riot. Laughed earlier in the year, laughed the other night.
Horhiro, maybe you and I could become like those people in Alcohol rehab. Whenever I feel like banging my head against a wall because of the Sox, I can call you, and vice-versa.
