Time to start of round two.. hopefully the grillmaster goes up on the TRO soon... could be stuck in approvals...
anyway..
This from Ronin the last time round..
<<
I just found this, sorry. Perhaps I can join in on the next one (if it's too late to join in on this one)? I was thinking perhaps with the new one, we could start with the mech's name (or a series of names based on a theme, such as garden tools... yes, I was just mowing the lawn) and go from there.

Weedwacker, lawnmower, hedgetrimmer, rake... any other tools I'm forgetting?
All of these mechs will be painted John Deere green!

*offer void where prohibited, must be 18 years old or older (or at least look it, wink wink) to receive the tobacco...

Ok, do we want to do a series of un-related mechs (other than the same manufaturer), a series of mechs designed to complement each other (2 unit, lance, or company level), or just a single mech?
If a series, we need to get a list of name ideas. If a series that are designed to work together, we'll need to take the names one step further and figure out rough relationships.
For example, the lawnmower and weedwhacker: the lawnmower is the big guy that does swaths of damage and moves on, while the weedwhacker is the smaller one that takes care of the stragglers/edges. Or the weedwhacker could be a flanker.
Am I making any sense, or do I need to go mow my lawn again (well, the fact that the grass is getting tall is beside the point )

Maybe you can call it the sling blade.

lets get started on one of these two.. and any idea where a sling blade might fit in? _________________ "My job is to keep the majority of people in this country alive. That's it. Okay, Sling Blade. Sounds like it would mount a gauss rifle. So I would place it in a direct fire support role. _________________ If ignorance is bliss, then why are you so miserable?

Would a sling blade be a hatchet or an axe according to the rules? I like the idea of having a gauss on one side and a blade on the other. Makes for a good one two punch.

What sort of weight class are we looking at? This could turn into a hollander with a hatchet if we keep it too low. ^_^.
If its going to be a support mech, Is TSM a good Idea? I Imagine the hatchet to be more of a defense mechanism.. _________________ too lazy to make a sig...

You don't need a club to call the mech Slingblade. I'd imagine it has several weapon systems hidden away, revealed only when the pilot arms them.
