I was flipping through the channels last night and noticed a name in the credits for America's Funniest Videos. Trace Beleau (sp?) (the evil mad scientist guy) is now one of the producers for that program. It is nice to see some of that cast still working.

Oh, come on, man. Mystery Science Theater 3000. Awesome show. You got the guy and two robots who sit in a theater and watch B-grade scifi movies, and ridicule them. Really funny. It's been a while since I've seen it 'cause they cancelled the show. They always cancel the good shows. Hell, Farscape was the best show ever, and they cancelled it too. But, unlike MST3K, Farscape came back. (Peacekeeper Wars!!! All hail the return of Farscape!!!!)
Does anyone know if there are MST3K reruns on someplace? That would be worth watching.

The Sci-Fi channel still has reruns, but it is only for the seasons that they aired. To get the seasons with Joel you need to find geeks like me who still have the episodes on tape. I have about 20-30 episodes in a box ready to ship off to an old friend of mine. My wife hates the show, so I never watch them anymore.

Ah, Yes. Mystery Science Theater I am familiar with, but it was off the air before I went to college and got cable.
I saw a couple episodes in hotels when I traveled. I never really thought it was funny.

Completely revoked
Unless you saw the episodes with the strange character (I liked Mike and Joel and the Dr and Tv's Frank, Their replacements were just horrible)

I still occasionally find myself sing "I'm a danger to myself and others"
When the show was in its second season on Comedy Central is when I first started watching it. I think I have seen all of the Joel episodes and have many of the skits and one liners memorized. I received my first certificates of geekdom by posting regularly to alt.MST3K. Nothing like being an online geek before the WWW was officially up and running nationwide.
GAMERA!!!! GAMERA!!!!

Well, it did have its fair share of bad episodes. It's usually the parts of the show when they AREN'T watching the movie that's usually the good part. It least for me anyways. I just couldn't stand to make my self watch the movies most of the time. It was just too painful.

Some of thoes movies were so painful the were actually enjoyable (Sidehackers, Cave Dwellers, Gamera were always just fun to watch.)
I actually picked up a B-movie shark flick (its a weakness of mine I must admit) called "Shark Zone", it is so bad that it really is enjoyable, I have let a few friends burrow it and they have all said the same thing. The usual response is "I didnt know sharks growl and roar like Lions and tigers." If you want a bad horror movie it is a classic.
But I really miss the old MST3K it always made me laugh.

I think my favorite episodes have to be all the Gamera movies they watched, Killer Leeches (or something like that) and Agent Double, Double O 7 (the one with Sean Connery's brother). Those had some great lines in them.
my alltime fav MST3K line?
