An extremely fine piece of fan work. Almost on par with Fasa's very own sourcebooks. If it has a rating like the TROs, its 5 stars for the effort alone. The level of detail and storyline is simply excellent.
So whether u are a bitter Starleague fanatic, a devil may care merc jock, blood thirsty House warrior, or an Amaris Hating clanner, u should check this one out.

Like others have said, well written and researched, and taken on these merits alone, its worth a five star rating.
However, my beef with it is that it seems to be an excuse to have yet another uber powerful entity. Worse, one that seems to be able to mix and match the best of what the Clans and Inner Sphere have to offer. (see the LAM, clan tech with stealth technology...)
With this taken into account i give it a two and a half. I'm a mean, miserable person.
Take with a pinch of salt.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I would of liked it more if it was just the history of the house before the fall of the star league.

Interesting. I saw at leat two Clan 'Mechs, but I didn't look to see if there was anything else. I want to read the history first.
The history looks very good, and so do a lot of the quotes from Amaris and Meridian. And I mean very good. I love the unconcerned cruelty of Amaris, and the quotes from Machiavelli are a nice touch.
To give it a rating though, it would get no more than a four, and perhaps a 3.5. The history looks excellent, and that in itself is 5 or 4.5 stuff. But I'm big on grammar; it's hard to read something full of grammatical errors, and the unending stream of awkward sentances and phrases in this is really starting to tick me off. It isn't hard to actually read something and see if it reads well. They don't seem to have bothered.
