Post 250.
If it isn't a promotion it's at least a landmark of some kind of seniority.
OK, and I'm going to bed now and I thought 250 posts was a nice round number.
Drinks on me regardless. _________________ "Politics is the Art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, misdiagnosing the problem, and applying the wrong solution."

Yep. 250 it is. Congrats, Captain. ::raises drink in salute::
Careful you don't post too much though; you'll end up like Field Marshal Sir Henry, piloting a desk.

We don't know each other that I'm aware of. I have family in Georgia, Tenessee, Alabama, and South Carolina, so it isn't out of the question.
I figure great minds think alike. _________________ "Politics is the Art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, misdiagnosing the problem, and applying the wrong solution."

They also serve who sit and write. It's not bad to pilot desk, but I prefer a Marauder myself.

That's the ticket!
I don't think we know each other. I have family in New York and Arizona. I don't know anyone who's in Missouri.

Speaking as the son of a desk jockey: no one appreciates the office work until it is done wrong, and the M-16s show up with .50 ammunition six days appart, without the food, the pay, or the relief troops.
Or some other SNAFU.
That said, if I'm going to be shot at, I'd rather have 10 tons of armor between me and the bad guys than one desk.
Although they say the bureau(cracy) is darn near indestructable... _________________ "Politics is the Art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, misdiagnosing the problem, and applying the wrong solution."
