==Overview:==
     The success of the Raven light battlemech as a forward scout and
counter-electronics warfare unit has recently prompted Hellespont Industries
to develop a conventional cousin unit called Crow. This unit is equipped with
much the same weapons load as the Raven but all placed on a Helicopter
chassis. This allows for increased maneuverability and versatility on the
battlefield. Able to skirt in and out of the battle zone as needed. 

==Capabilities:==
      To insure its safety and success at this mission, Hellespont gave the
VTOL an impressive 5.5 tons of ProtecTech 6 armor giving the unit the
capability to take a Class 20 Auto-Cannon round to all but the rotor and tail
and still survive. To further insure survival, the VTOL is equipped with a
forward facing Free Worlds League built McArthur AMS supplied with two tons of
ammunition. This system will limit rotor damaged sustained from a SRM barrage.
All ammunition has been placed in a CASE protected bay to increase the number
of crews that survive in the field. Like the Raven, the Crow mounts a Active
Probe, ECM, TAG, and NARC Missile Beacon; unlike the Raven, the Crow does not
mount Medium Lasers or SRMs instead mounting a Free Worlds League built C3
Slave unit to quickly relay targeting data and enemy unit information to
friendly forces. It would seem that Hellespont believes that the crew of this
VTOL should avoid combat and instead concentrate on its mission, which is to
provide Electronic support for its company or battalion. 

==Deployment==
     Capellan High Command has ordered a limited production run of Crow
Electronic Support VTOLs to be placed with 1/3rd of it Battlemech battalions
to supplement its Ravens and give Electronic Warfare to those battalions
without Ravens. Rumor also has it that Hellespont has also shipped several
units to the Free Worlds League, likely as part of the agreement to receive
the AMS and C3 Slave.
