I've only got one left til my ten year reunion! Goddam I'm feeling old! I'm teach on a basic training course up here, and it's making me feel ancient because almost everyone on the course was born in 83 or 84, almost a full decade after me!

Well, I just had my 10 year High School reunion (which I didn't go to), but he's referring to our 10 year VGA BattleTech Reuinion.
Hiya StingRay, glad to see and hear from you again. I think two years is probably right. Only 1 year for when I started playing that overly addictive game, so that would be 2 for us since I started in the Federated Suns. Was sent to the Draconis Combine as a spy. Then went to Marik where I quickly became Captain General. And then into our illustrious stint as the Com Guards. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Well dang I didn't know you were a spy for the Feds.
I started in Kurita fighting against the Feds. At the high point of my career I walked onto the Davion Capitol City late one night. Ahh glorious times.
Then i got sick of the house politics, joined Nekogami, got sick of doing nothing, joined Com Guard, spied for Com Guard by Infiltrating Steiner and moving up the ranks.. hehe remember that time i attacked Marik with all my lances from Steiner and then the Com Guard went and ransacked Marik? .. Almost got nailed on that one.
Then there was the time they were testing the "new" universe so that there was two at once.. so of course we attacked Marik in both places and took the capitol in both. .. Good times.
I guess old mech pilots never lose interest. Any Battletech game is still my favorite. _________________ The Sting of Truth, a Ray of hope.

I know how you fell...I am back in school and while it's great to look at all the young 18 to 22 year old ladies, it does point out to me that I ten years older then most of them...

No, VGA BattleTech has been long gone for quite some time, unfortunately. They could put the system back up right now in its old VGA state, and I can gaurantee it would still do great!
Those were some good days and great times back then. Not to mention sky-high credit card bills. But we all know there's almost always a bad with the good. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator
