The LNG-2ST Longstreet first came in to use during the rise of Word of Blake and their push to unite the Chaos March into one unified interstellar state.
The Longstreet showed it's teeth in the battles that raged on New Earth and other planets during the open waves of the WoB offensive to cleans the Inner Sphere of all of it's follies.
==Capabilities:==
The Longstreet has awesome firepower and when combined with it's next excellent heat disapation the mech can fire every thing it has almost constently and not worry about heat build up.
This alone as lead to it's grow repuation as mech that is one that should be respected and feared.

What is not to like. Heavy hitting weapons. good armor. Decent speed. Not bad, Not bad at all.
