==Overview:==
The Repair Craft is just that: a ship deployed to make field repairs to
damaged vessels in space. From shoring up a damaged frame to allow a ship to
make the journey to a proper drydock, to simply patching armor plating after a
battle, the Repair Craft is a master of jury-rigging and field repair.
==Capabilities:==
Like most utility ships, the Repair Craft is unarmed, and lightly armored,
making their use during battle almost pointless.
The twin robotic arms used by the craft are quite dextrous, being jointed in 4
places. This allows the crew to easily work on a ship's interior when such
repairs are neccessary. The arms each come equipped with a laser cutting tool,
and a high-energy welding torch. The tips of the arms are replacable, in case
a specialized attachment is needed for the current job.
When repairs are to be done, the appropiate parts are released in a special
parts container, stored in the ship's cargo bay. One of the robotic arms
catches the pod, and positions it in a convenient spot. The pod opens upon
receiving a radio command from the ship, and the two robotic arms then proceed
to make repairs on the target vessel.

The Repair craft is one of the most common space vessels in the entire Inner
Sphere, being produced and deployed by literally every government,
corporation, and power with the facilities to build them and a space fleet to
maintain.
