I've used this only a couple times, and its performance has been only slightly above average. However I do like it a lot, especially the name If I ever make an MTE-2A it will still not use FF Armor or an XL engine, but Endo might appear, since the cost difference isnt that much, and I'd like to mount an LBX AC on it somewhere

Ok, the new version is up if anyone wants to see their suggestions put to use...

I have to admit, I never much looked at the Price of designs.
However, it is part of the fluff, so it has to be acknowledged. And the fluff is very important to me!
Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't endosteel get manufactured in orbital factories?
I always consider that as part of the whole problem. Sure, with the Clans, no problem. But the IS didn't really have these facilities until the middle of the 31st century. And not every manufacturing plant would already be fully equipped with this....
Just a general thought on Endo Steel, not particularly aimed at the above!

Yes, Endo-Steel must be manufactured in a null-G environment. _________________ Evil is like a bowl of oranges. Only one, instead, is an orange of DOOM. That orange has a fate to rule over the other oranges with an iron fist. That orange is me.

However it is still much cheaper and more beneficial than Ferro-Fibrous

Hey, don't get me wrong, I would never ever doubt that!
But it just hit me as very strange, the first time I heard FF was more expensive than ES. Not only because it is not as good, but also because I would have thought it would not cause as much expenses in manufacture.
The components of FF are probably more expensive than those of ES??

The base materials used in the Ferro cost more then Endo. I'snt Endo better because of the manufacturing process, while Ferro is better because of the materials used? (I may be forgetting the tech stats.)

You can rate your own mechs. You just don't get credits for it. Not sure if the rating counts or not. He did it to brring the design into the forums for discussion.

Sorry, but I wasn't around when you asked this question. But yes, I rated almost all of my mechs before Mordel dissallowed that, and my ratings are often more severe than other peoples. So yes, I reviewed my own designs and I still would if Mordel hadn't changed it, but I can see why he did. Not everyone would be as honest about their own machines, some people would give their stuff a 5 just to boost its rating. So, anyways, have fun

The other reason may be that you gain credits for each review...

Well, there is that too, but personally I don't have a problem with someone getting creds for reviewing their own design as long as its a solid and honest review. Read the reviews I wrote on my Cheetah Omni for an example. I think I gave it the worst review of all lol. But I figure Mordel may frown on people getting credits that way.
