Hi everyone,
with no small measure of regret I have to announce my final, absolute and immediate withdrawal from this site specifically and the Battletech community as a whole.
My life has been going downhill rather badly in the last 7 years or thereabouts. It was often a case of me fleeing into this community. Really that is it. Mordel's has been quite a bit of a surrogate family since 1998.
And it was great! In talks this evening, I realised that my life has been a sum of creativity and productivity that is really quite something. But it was mainly in conjunction with Battletech. And as far as Battletech was concerned, this was my home.
Unfortunately, in the real world, Battletech amounts to very little. Especially amongst 'normal' people. And I am sure not a lot of you have this problem, that this game, this universe becomes the main area of activity in a whole life!
I have to say good-bye. Draw a line. It hurts so much to come to this conclusion. That what I love most and what I do best is ultimately that which keeps me from doing anything like my best in other fields. So, this is end. The end. I will not be coming back, not because I don't want to, but because I cannot.
I have a sizable collection that I have to get rid off. Because it contains so very much of my life and creativity and care. I will do that via eBay as much as I feel that I will get even a fraction of money and appreciation back. And Vampire (in case you read this) will be getting a rather sizable present soon.
Anything that does not fall into those categories, I will have distribute amongst the American (or Singaporian - Erenon) market in due time. That will be the only and single exception that may warrant another post from me in the future.
If anyone wants to contact me as a friend, and friend only, you are likely to have my e-mail address. Please do not come to converse about this universe with me. I fear it could be too tempting, it would do this cause disservice.
Farewell my friends. It was a great time. Which happened to distract me from the fact that I was destroying my real life.

Can't say about Battletech, but I certainly surf the net too much. That hasn't stopped me having friends, going out with a nice lady or getting my own home.
If Mordel's is a solace to you, why give it up? I'll probably never understand people.
I hope you find what you're looking for out there.

Does that means your order for Battletech minis is cancelled? Anyway,I'll return your originals inmediately.
