I would switch those Assassins to something else. Either another pair of Panthers, or whitworths. Perhaps Trebuchets. The speed of the Assassins makes them, in my opinion, a poor companion to the slow Panther, as it would be much harder to maintain unit cohesion. You'd probably end up with a pair of Panthers somewhere on the board, and a pair of Assassins somewhere else entirely.

I like it. The heavy lance is nice and mobile. It has excellent weapons fire fields for all ranges and decent armor coverage. The support lance is inspired. True to Night Stalker form, it is unorthodox and very flexible. With the Panthers to follow up the heavy lance or to pull abreast and take a place on the line and the Assassins to flit about lending their aid where it's needed as fast as it's needed. As for the scout lance, it's more of a strike lance with the paired jenners but the OstScout offsets the firepower of the group as a whole to stand it down the scout/recon. Still it's very fast and mobile. Nice.

Ah, but the competition is already scouting you out!!! Hey man. Nice company. The Assassins complement those Panthers very well in my opinion. They can harass the hell out of you while the Panthers set up for a good shot. By themselves Assassins suck but placed into the right lance. They are downright evil because of their speed.
The Heavy/Command company is the Anvil while everything else is the hammer to hit your opponent with.
Your company is well balanced, the only force i see giving you a real headache is a slighty Heavier force with the same kind of pilots. They will kill your lighter guys dead.
Look forward to seeing the company on the field! _________________ ".... at one hundred yards. Volley fire, present! Fire! Independent, fire at will!"

That's why I considered switching the Archer and T-bolt out for something capable of pulling 5/8...makes for a better raiding force. Drop on top of the objective, take or destroy it, and get the hell out of dodge.

I don't see the T-bolt as a hinderance. He provides some puch to the force. The Archer with Large Lasers I am not a fan off. He doesn't fit in my opinion in a raiding force. I think you will find more than not him getting left behind to cover the retreat and in the process him getting a chance to visit his ancestors!
In all honesty a mech that would fit into the raiding Philosophy and would give some punch to your lighter forces would be either a kurita Wolverine with the Lasers or dare i say it, a Charger. The Charger moves 5/8 and while his firepower is lacking his Physical attacks are downright devastating. _________________ ".... at one hundred yards. Volley fire, present! Fire! Ha remember that Mud doesnt like Chargers one bit.
And remember if a Charger tries to melee, other slower heavy and assault mechs can hit him back hard too.

I don't know...
The Dragon sucks pretty bad as a heavy mech, but the rest of the lance can cover for it. Swap it for another Grand Dragon first chance you get, OK?
Assassins are quite bad too. Swap them for Centurions, for example. That would make your second lance a really nice medium clobbering lance. As it is now the Panthers will be gone long before the Assassins do anything useful.
Or move the Assassins to the recon lance and pair the Panthers with your Jenners. That would be nasty, to say the least.

This sounds like typical Lyran make-it-heavy approach.
The idea with swapping Jenners for assassins in support lance sounds reasonable. I'm not sure but Quickdraw, or Crusader with JJs may replace the Archer if you don't want it.

I'll wait until 3039 to add any chargers to my force...I was considering Quickdraws though. Kurita even has a Quickdraw factory, so you could even get some spare parts for 'em

I just don't like having useless mechs around, so I give my opinions on what to do.
The Dragon sucks, and that's a fact.
Assassins are really bad for anything except scouting, so get rid of them or use them for scouting.

What's so bad with Dragon? Good armor and speed + not bad weapons. Grand Dragon is better but Dragon doesn't stink.
